Nestled in the lush south of Mauritius near Chamouny, Vallé Adventure Park stretches over 450 acres of vibrant nature, adventure, and breathtaking scenery. If you’re after a mix of adrenaline, relaxation, and natural beauty, this is one of the must-visit spots on the island.
If you’re chasing an adrenaline rush in Mauritius, the park offers an amazing range of zip line experiences, from gentle beginner runs to thrilling adventures like the Signature 1.5 km line or the Ten Flight Trail with 10 lines spanning 3.5 km. For something truly unique, you can even try the Bicycle Zipline, pedalling high above lush forests with jaw-dropping views. Don’t miss crossing the Nepalese Bridge either, it’s one of the longest suspension bridges in the Indian Ocean and perfect for those epic photo moments!
One of my favourite ways to explore Vallé Adventure Park is on a quad bike. It’s an exhilarating ride through rugged trails, rolling hills, and past stunning waterfalls. Whether you’re a first-timer or an off-road pro, there’s a route for everyone. And for an extra dose of fun, don’t miss the Mountain Luge Kart, a thrilling downhill ride that lets you race through the park’s breathtaking landscapes!

For nature lovers, the highlight is the incredible 23-Coloured Earth, a natural masterpiece of volcanic rock in shades of red, yellow, and purple. Scenic trails lead to tranquil waterfalls like Chamouzé and Cheveux d’Ange, perfect for unwinding amid lush greenery. As you wander through the park’s forests, keep an eye out for ebony trees, orchids, deer, and giant tortoises.
After a morning of adventure, the park has some great spots to unwind and refuel. Le Chamouzé Restaurant, set beside a gentle waterfall, offers a peaceful setting and fresh, flavourful dishes. For something livelier, La Bigarade by the lake serves hearty buffets and à la carte meals. The park also has handy facilities like lockers, restrooms, guided tours, souvenir shops, and even GoPro rentals to capture every thrilling moment.
Before heading to Vallé Adventure Park, a little preparation goes a long way. Aim to arrive early, around 9 a.m. to make the most of your day and book popular activities before they fill up. Wear sturdy shoes (flip flops are not recommended), comfortable clothes, and don’t forget sun protection and insect repellent. It’s also worth checking any age, height, or weight restrictions when booking, and keeping an eye on the weather, as some trails and ziplines may close during rain.
